Teaching staff
The quality of education and pupil performance are strongly dependent on competent teachers and good school management. In order to attract and retain good teachers, the School's Board is investing in measures to improve teacher training, salaries and career prospects. Teachers have various opportunities for continuing professional development.
As a Basic School, we recognise that our students are talented in different ways, and our teaching staff work hard to bring out the best in all of our students. They contribute their knowledge and know-how to education as tutors, course coordinators, mentors and skills trainers.
CUA’s Problem-Based Learning (PBL) requires special teaching staff who are able to play a seemingly modest role by using their expertise to serve the learning process in which the student is central. The school trains and guides new teachers in Problem-Based Learning by regularly offering specific courses.
